It has been announced by Scuderia Ferrari that Kimi Räikkönen will continue to drive for the team for another season.
It will be the Finnish driver’s fifth consecutive season with Ferrari after rejoining the team in 2014 and the eighth season of his career.
It is highly likely that his team-mate Sebastian Vettel will also continue racing for the Italian team marking their fourth season as partners. Vettel currently leads the driver’s championship with Räikkönen fifth, having finished on the podium at the last two events.
However, Räikkönen has not won a Grand Prix for Ferrari during his current stint with the team. His last win for the Prancing Horse was at the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix.
Out of 20 career victories, nine have been with Ferrari. Another nine were for McLaren as well as two for Lotus between 2012 and 2013.
